Meet Karen, the Person Behind LUX

Hi, I’m Karen King, founder of LUX Business Services in Warren, Pennsylvania. I help small businesses build a professional online presence and manage the everyday office tasks that take time away from doing what they love.

My interest in technology started early, growing up with computer engineer parents. That curiosity led to studies in Business Management at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and a career combining creativity, technology, and practical business support.

Since 2017, I’ve been designing and managing websites for businesses at different stages of growth. My experience in office administration also gives me an understanding of the work happening behind the scenes—the scheduling, communication, and organization that keep a business moving.

LUX brings those skills together through website design and virtual office services. Whether you need a fresh website, ongoing updates, or help keeping daily tasks organized, you’ll work directly with me for support that fits your business.

I believe in clear communication, thoughtful work, and making things easier for my clients. I also use modern tools, including AI where it’s useful, to support an efficient and creative process.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, being involved in my community, painting, gaming, gardening, and playing piano.
